Esther DiAngelis Obituary
Esther DiGuiseppe DiAngelis of Kennett Square Esther DiGuiseppe DiAngelis, 96 of Kennett Square, died Friday Nov. 7, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Alfonse DiAngelis who died in 1996 and with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Kennett Square, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and the late Lucia (Martelli) DiGuiseppe. Esther worked at the cafeteria for Kennett High school and three little bakers for many years. She was a member of the Italian American club ladies auxiliary. She loved walking the track at the Kennett YMCA almost daily up until the age of 90. Most important in her life were her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Carol Minch and her husband Dennis of Kennett; one son Alfonse DiAngelis and his wife Helga of Wilmington; one sister Dolly Blake of Kennett; two grandchildren, Erin Orlando and her husband Anthony of Kennett and Matt Minch and his wife Beth of Sadsbury Twp; three great grandchildren, Caleb, Janey and Myles and several nieces and nephews. You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. A memorial service celebrating her life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
